We are so excited to announce and invite you to join us for the “WALK BY FAITH” walk-a-thon Sunday, June 2nd! All proceeds from this walk-a-thon will go exclusively to young adult cohorts of The Way and On Fire in the Pittsburgh area. We are thrilled to partner with Preambula Group!

About the event
Our goal is to merge fitness and faith in unique and faith filled ways! With that said, we are excited to announce our upcoming walk-a-thon with Preambula Group (check them out). This walk-a-thon is aptly titled “You Were Made to Thrive!” to take place on the morning of JUNE 2nd, 8:30am - 12:30pm.
In short, Preambula offers guided spiritual experiences that help believers encounter Jesus, discover their deepest identity, and become His mission to the world.
This event’s goal is to raise money for one of Preambula’s programs called “On Fire”. Having personally been through this program, I can say that it lit my heart “on fire” for the spirit of Jesus. There is truly no other program like it. This partnership is made even more special because On Fire was the catalyst for the entire Laudate Fitness idea. So, it seems only fitting that our first community event be with Preambula to kick off the Summer!
The details for the day:
Date: Sunday, June 2nd
Location: Cedar Run Farm, Allison Park, PA (Close to Hartwood Acres)
Time : 8:30 Registration/ 9am kickoff/ after walk….Cookout & Live Music – End 1pm (ish)
Walk: 2.5-3 miles walk, stops at stations for prayer and exercise offered through Laudate Fitness
Food: Snack & waters provided along the course, cookout after the walk
What participants will do:
- Register for $25 (covers cost for drinks, snacks, t-shirts and lunch)
- Once you are registered you will receive instructions to create a personal page with a link to send to anyone you want to sponsor you. $300 is the goal for each participant – It’s easy! Send a link to 10 people, ask each to sponsor you for $30 and you’ve hit the goal. We do NOT want any participants writing a check (other than the $25 registration fee).
