“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it…”
Appropriate for today’s holiday, we are reminded in verse one of our Lord. He has created the world and everything in it for us. Imbuing within us Free Will to not only survive in his creation but to thrive. We are created to be happy and passionate about the live’s we live.
Take a moment today, to simply give thanks for the freedom he has given.
Often we go to God when we are stressed, angry, resentful… Setting a daily discipline of “Thanks be to God!” can be a powerful prayer. Often at our weakest points, He is there the strongest.
“They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob.”
Seek his face today in the loved ones you surround yourself with and you will be rewarded.
“Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.”
