Laudate Devotional 🙏

"They will stretch out their hands in it, as swimmers stretch out their hands to swim. God will bring down their pride despite the cleverness of their hands."

In following with previous devotional themes, Isaiah 25 feels like a breath of fresh air. Simply put, this entire chapter is in praise to our Lord God. It is a reminder to give thanks and shout his name through all we do.

When we forget to praise, just like any relationship, our conversation with God starts to fade. We start relying on the “cleverness” of our own hands, rather than the path that He has set specifically for us.

So how do we avoid the pitfalls of ego?

In many ways, we can look to the physical reality of training to influence our spiritual reality and grow in the same way. Let every movement be a prayer, every prayer be a praise.

3 Therefore strong peoples will honor you; cities of ruthless nations will revere you. 4 You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat”.

So who should praise Him? Everyone!

By iron, through iron, to iron. Laudate!

God Bless,

The Laudate Team
